Gia Revazi was born in Tbilisi, Georgia, in the year 1954. During the years 1971 to 1976, this artist studied at the Tbilisi State Academy of Fine Arts and fine-tuned his skills. Gia Revazi became a member of the artist union in the USSR as well as the Avangard's Membership of Georgia. The artist has been a part of many different public and corporate exhibits while showcasing his works in both solo and group showings.
Gia Revazi seems to enjoy painting people the most. The pieces he creates feature people, sometimes more than one, engaged in one activity or the other. These paintings feature people in a way that is unrealistic, as their proportions are quite exaggerated. The people in the paintings are all very tall with long legs but generally have proportional arms and head sizes. Activities that they are enjoying include playing music, spending time together as a couple, reading books, going on walks, eating, sitting in a beauty salon or fishing. When Gia Revazi is not painting images of people, he is often painting pictures of still life. This includes common still life images such as fruits and bottles on tables, wine and more.
When Gia Revazi is painting people, the colors that are most often used include green, orange, red, blue and gray. There is no one color that can be found throughout the entirety of the paintings, making each one by Gia Revazi incredibly diverse and unique.
